Purpose
The purpose of this document is to step through the procedures of saving a MiTel-based voice mail (.WAV audio file ). You have two ways to either save your VM, through the Mitel Connect or from your Outlook Inbox. The only major difference between the two ways is that through the Mitel Connection app, the files are stored in a preset or default location on your local C drive. While saving from Outlook, you the user can select the location to save the file. This is the preferred option so you can save your WM to a network share drive.
Mitel Connect
If not already opened during the logon, find this icon on your desktop and double click to open it up .
In this example – you can see the call from User "Elsa Collins" by selecting the Voicemails option on the left pane menu. In this view under the ‘All’ Tab; an ‘unheard’ VM will appear with an orange dot proceeding the entry . Normally users will listen to all Recoded VM ( Voice Message) before deciding to save or delete. The app (Mitel Connect) will require you to listen to the VM before saving it .
IF you choose to save from the Mitel Connection app, click on the Unheard Tab to display all ‘Unheard’ messages .
When you double click on the entry, the Window will expand to look like this. First click on the Green Arrow pointing to the right to play and then click the Save in blue text.
You can find the files in this location in your computer.

Outlook
